Couple married in Blasdell

Tara Kathleen Mary O’Connor and John Patrick Salzler were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church in Blasdell. The Reverend Edward Czarnecki officiated.

Following the ceremony, the new husband and wife celebrated with their family and friends at a reception at the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in Buffalo.

The bride is a claims adjuster for Geico and is a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy. She is the niece of Colleen O’Connor of Hamburg and granddaughter of the late James P. and Barbara A. O’Connor of Blasdell.

The groom is a sales associate at Lowe’s in Orchard Park. He is a graduate of Springville-Griffith Institute High School and St. Bonaventure University and the son of Suzanne M. Salzler of Hamburg and the late Peter G. Salzler.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple is residing in Orchard Park.
